Intergenerational Cooking

The Reach Gallery Museum is excited to present a South Asian Canadian Intergenerational Cooking Program in partnership with Archway Community Services!

Alongside other South Asian Canadian families, participants will cook their own dishes on a theme using their family’s unique recipes. Food tasting and sharing will conclude each session, and participants will vote on their favorite dish. The winning recipe wins a prize package of South Asian culinary items! Afterwards, participants can take their dishes home to share with family! Through the cooking environment, elders will help the next generation learn to cook their family dishes and understand their cultural traditions. All supplies will be provided, and facilitation will be provided in both Punjabi and English languages. Ages 11
