Join us for a delightful creative adventure as you sculpt your very own gnome companion. Will yours be a wise woodland guardian, a mischievous mushroom dweller, a flower-loving garden sprite, or an eccentric fellow with an outrageously tall hat? The choice is entirely yours.

Week One: Gnome Creation Day
You’ll learn simple handbuilding and sculpting techniques while adding facial expressions, textures, accessories, and whimsical details.

Your creation will then stay behind at the studio to dry and journey through the kiln.

Week Two: Bringing Your Gnome to Life
Return to paint and glaze your fired gnome, choosing colours and magical finishing touches that make it uniquely yours. After a final firing, your gnome will be ready to take up residence in a garden, on a bookshelf, or wherever a little enchantment is needed.

No clay experience is necessary—just bring your imagination and a willingness to get your hands delightfully muddy.

Explore, Experience, Discover. Summer Gardening Camp is a hands-on and educational day camp designed for children ages 6-11! This engaging program provides a fun, safe, and enriching environment where young learners will explore the wonders of plants, nature, sustainability, and gardening basics. During the summer months, as gardens flourish and the sun shines bright, children will dive into the full growth process, from seed to harvest. Through interactive activities, outdoor exploration, and creative arts, campers will develop valuable practical skills while enjoying the vibrant energy of summer and building a deeper connection to the natural world around them.

Campers enjoy a light, engaging experience that lets them get their hands dirty, try fun activities, and feel proud of their contributions.

Camp Overview:

• Interact with friendly farm animals: bunnies, goats, chickens, and more
• Fun activities may include:
• Hand feeding the rabbits, chickens, goats, donkey, cow, sheep and more!
• Holding a rabbit, chicken, duck, goat
• Training a goat to hop on and off a platform
• Guiding Reba, the gentle dog, through simple tricks
• Milking a goat if timing is right
• Optional “mini-mission” chores (always short, fun rewarding and optional):
• Feeding animals
• Cleaning water bowls
• Brushing the donkey
• Tidying the chicken coop

Goal: Let campers explore, play, and help around the farm. All tasks are optional and switchable, so kids can focus on what they enjoy most while seeing tangible results from their efforts.

Fish Camp Level 1 is designed for beginners and first-time anglers. Campers experience the full fishing journey—from holding a rod and casting, to catching a fish, cleaning it safely, and cooking it over an open BBQ for lunch.

This camp emphasizes confidence-building, basic fishing skills, and hands-on understanding of where food comes from. By the end of the day, each participant will have caught, prepared, and enjoyed their own rainbow trout as part of a shared meal.

No prior fishing experience needed – we start at the very beginning and guide every step.

Experience the joy of farm life with the “Beyond the Farm Gate” annual event. The ‘Beyond Farm Gate Event’ inspires a deeper connection to the heart of farming, offering a glimpse into the lives of our hens and the vital role agriculture plays in our community. We invite guests to join one of the special three-day experiences where we open our hearts and fields to the community, sharing the beauty of sustainable agriculture. A farm life focusing on loving our planet with net-zero living, showcasing a chicken mobile barn, solar powered, and self-functioning.

The Mobile Barn Experience. Forget about looking through a fence! Step inside our state-of-the-art mobile barn for a hands-on experience with our hens. Both kids and adults are invited to enter the pen and get up close with our happy hens, guided by an eggs-perienced worker. Throughout the event, children will have the opportunity to hand-feed, hold, and pet the hens. The worker will guide you inside the mobile barn, where you can see exactly where our hens lay their eggs, how they’re fed, and where they drink. You’ll also get to watch the hens enjoy their perches, dust-bathe, and follow you around. There is no time limit in the Hen Pen, and we encourage families to enjoy being surrounded by chickens.

We are committed to maintaining a net-zero footprint. This event is designed to be as gentle on the earth as our farming practices. There will be field games scattered around the space, allowing kids to run wild with classic outdoor activities and plenty of room to explore. We’ve set up picnic benches throughout the area for guests to sit down and soak in the farm atmosphere. Plus, an on-site food truck will be serving delicious food.

Airplanes: Due to being situated at the end of the airport, we have many airplanes flying by. We do encourage hearing protection.

Canada’s National Airshow. A three-day aviation festival featuring demonstrations by the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, Skyhawks, RCAF CF-18 Hornet, Red Bull Air Force and additional world-class civilian and military performers. Friday’s event is a twilight show including after-dark pyrotechnic performances and an LED drone show. Saturday and Sunday offer daytime programs.

The Airshow also features 14-acres of ground entertainment and attractions including our premium seating venues, food trucks, static aircraft displays, and family activities. The ground attractions will once again feature the interactive Aviation-S.T.E.M. Zone which offers hands-on activities and exhibits for youth showcasing the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math involved in aviation.

Parents need a break? Send your kids out for a fun night at the rec center while you enjoy some well-deserved time off. Your kids will have a blast with our changing themes and fun activities. We will go swimming, eat pizza and play games each session! Book early as space is limited!

Please bring a bathing suit and towel for your child. Drop off and pick up will be in MP 8. Sign in and out is required.

How does one tiny seed grow into a plentiful harvest? This week, campers will investigate the life cycle of a garden plant, become seed ID experts, and participate in other hands-on learning activities in the garden. Campers will learn valuable gardening skills, including weeding, watering, and harvesting techniques, and develop an appreciation for the rewarding work of growing and harvesting their own food!

Silverbrook Nature Camp is our most immersive camp experience, designed to help kids slow down, get outside, and truly connect with nature. Over five days, campers explore the farm, ponds and nature while learning essential outdoor skills, animal care, fishing basics, and sustainable awareness.

Each day introduces new activities—from building shelters and learning fire safety, to exploring ecosystems, caring for farm animals, fishing, and discovering how a working farm operates. Our goal is to build confidence, curiosity, independence, and a genuine love for the outdoors.

This camp is perfect for kids who love being outside, getting their hands dirty, and learning by doing.

Fishin’ for Fun is where summer memories are made.

Bring the kids, the grandparents, and your favourite people for a laid-back afternoon at Silverbrook Farm filled with fishing, animals, music, and wide-open space to roam. This all-ages version of our popular Fishin’ in the Dark event is designed for families who want fresh air, hands-on fun, and time together – without staying up past bedtime.

Kids can cast a line, feed the animals, play yard games, and dance in the grass, while parents relax and soak in the farm vibes.
