Made for Women is Abbotsford’s must-visit spring experience—a vibrant, high-energy event bringing together over 100 curated local brands, incredible food, and immersive, feel-good experiences all under one roof.

More than a market, it’s a full day out. Spend time discovering beautifully made goods, connecting with local makers, and exploring thoughtfully curated activations designed to feel inspiring, social, and worth getting out for.

From flash tattoos and a DIY flower bar to mini spa moments and interactive features with Care for Women, every detail is designed to create an experience you won’t find anywhere else.

Arrive early to make the most of it.

The first 100 guests each day will receive a scratch-to-win card with chances to win Mango Market cash. The first 50 will also receive a limited-edition tote bag, and for the first 25, those totes will include a curated selection of items from participating vendors.

Your visit also gives back. Fifty percent of all admission proceeds are donated to Care for Women, supporting postpartum mothers in our community.

The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s, presented by Go Auto,  is the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon’s largest fundraising event. The event will see participants in communities across British Columbia walk together on the last Sunday in May to honour people affected by dementia. Funds raised through the Walk are instrumental in helping the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon deliver programs and services to people affected by dementia and enable research to change the future of the disease. We couldn’t do this work without the generous efforts of our fundraisers and donors!

On Sunday, May 31, join more than 2,000 fellow British Columbians to show people living with dementia, as well as their families and caregivers, they don’t have to walk alone.

Opening ceremony: Noon (followed by the Walk)

Walk route: It’s a 1.5 km flat and accessible route. One or two laps of Gardner Park from the event staging area. Participants can walk according to the pace and distance they feel comfortable with. Route marshals are along the route to provide assistance if needed.

Little Log House Farms Garden Party

Selxwi:chel Arts & Culture Festival is a free, family-friendly celebration of Indigenous arts, culture, and community held in Abbotsford. Rooted in the meaning of “Selxwi:chel” – “the middle of three,” reflecting the connection of local Indigenous communities – the festival brings together First Nations, Metis, and Inuit artists, performers, and knowledge keepers. Visitors can experience live music and dance, storytelling, interactive workshops, and hands-on cultural activities, while also supporting Indigenous artisans and vendors. The event offers a welcoming space for all ages to learn, share, and celebrate Indigenous traditions, creativity, and cultural resilience.

Walk starts at 1pm, with a minimum 1 lap, but complete as many as you would like.

This is to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of kidney disease, as well as funds for continued research efforts.

There is currently no cure for kidney disease, but we hope that one day our efforts can lead to one!

On Thursday, July 9, Cyrus Centre is hosting Leap of Faith at Skydive Vancouver—a tandem skydiving fundraiser supporting youth in our community.

Sign up, raise $800, and take the leap—knowing you’re helping a young person find safety, support, and a place to land.

Not jumping? Come watch! It’s a full community event from 2 to 8 p.m. with food, activities, and plenty of excitement.

The CPA is a community of amateur athletes who compete in Men’s and Women’s Bodybuilding, Men’s Classic Physique, Men’s & Women’s Physique; Figure, Wellness, Fitness and Bikini categories, with support from CPA promoters, judges and officials, ambassadors, IFBB Pro League professionals, trainers, fitness enthusiasts and volunteers. We are expecting 5,000 members annually and will be holding over 60 competitions in Canada yearly. Our competitions will be held across Canada, from Newfoundland to British Columbia. The Canadian Physique Alliance (CPA) was recently sanctioned nationally by the IFBB Professional League who are the most recognized and respected professional bodybuilding and fitness organization in the world.

The ‘Beyond Farm Gate Event’ inspires a deeper connection to the heart of farming, offering a glimpse into the lives of our hens and the vital role agriculture plays in our community. We invite guests to join one of the special three-day experiences where we open our hearts and fields to the community, sharing the beauty of sustainable agriculture. A farm life focusing on loving our planet with net-zero living, showcasing a chicken mobile barn, solar powered, and self-functioning.

The Mobile Barn Experience. Forget about looking through a fence! Step inside our state-of-the-art mobile barn for a hands-on experience with our hens. Both kids and adults are invited to enter the pen and get up close with our happy hens, guided by an eggs-perienced worker. Throughout the event, children will have the opportunity to hand-feed, hold, and pet the hens. The worker will guide you inside the mobile barn, where you can see exactly where our hens lay their eggs, how they’re fed, and where they drink. You’ll also get to watch the hens enjoy their perches, dust-bathe, and follow you around. There is no time limit in the Hen Pen, and we encourage families to enjoy being surrounded by chickens.

We are committed to maintaining a net-zero footprint. This event is designed to be as gentle on the earth as our farming practices. There will be field games scattered around the space, allowing kids to run wild with classic outdoor activities and plenty of room to explore. We’ve set up picnic benches throughout the area for guests to sit down and soak in the farm atmosphere. Plus, an on-site food truck will be serving delicious food.

Airplanes: Due to being situated at the end of the airport, we have many airplanes flying by. We do encourage hearing protection.

This week, campers will investigate the life cycle of a garden plant, become seed ID experts, and participate in other hands-on learning activities in the garden. Campers will learn valuable gardening skills, including weeding, watering, and harvesting techniques, and develop an appreciation for the rewarding work of growing and harvesting their own food!
