Artist In Residence Event

Join City of Abbotsford Artist’s in Residence, Aysha McConkey, for an exciting evening centered on bats! Learn about Abbotsford’s native bat species and conservation in the community. Presented in partnership with FVRL.

If you’re a “Bat Fan,” also be sure to check out the corresponding “Bat Walk” taking place on the following evening (June 11th) at Mill Lake Park, Emerson.

Aysha McConkey is an artist and biologist making work focused on the natural world. Her practice incorporates biological, environmental, geographical, and ecological studies related to Abbotsford.

This event is FREE to attend and is open to all ages. No registration required. Session takes place at Abbotsford Community Library.
