Youth Zine Workshop with Cobi Timmermans

Presented in partnership with the Abbotsford Youth Commission, this hands-on zine-making workshop invites youth to get creative, share their stories, and explore self-expression through art. Learn three fun and easy ways to make your own mini books, called zines, then fill them with collages, drawings, words, and images that reflect your unique experiences and ideas.

You’ll also have the chance to contribute a page to a community zine inspired by the theme HOME. What does home mean to you? A place, a person, a feeling, a memory? There are no right or wrong answers, just an opportunity to express yourself and connect with others through creativity.

All supplies are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own photos, magazines, drawings, or other materials if you’d like to personalize your creations.

Youth-only program (ages 12 to 18).
