Abbotsford Welcome Day Event

Join us at Matsqui Centennial Auditorium for Archway’s official Welcome Day event as part of Welcome Week – a celebration of inclusion and community held across Canada. Whether you’re new to the area or a long-time community member, this free, family-friendly event is the perfect opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate together.

Community members of all ages are welcome. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to explore the service fair, connect with local organizations, and enjoy refreshments before the official welcome ceremony begins at 7:00 PM. If you’re unable to attend the full evening, you’re welcome to join us for any portion of the event.

This year’s welcome ceremony will feature a panel discussion with local leaders, including Mayor Ross Siemens, School District Superintendent Nathan Ngieng, and Abbotsford Police Department Chief Constable Colin Watson, as well as an exciting performance and a powerful keynote address by Tammy Brandsma and Hani Kambal.
